Who am I to be more visible?

Who am I to be more visible?

Who am I to be more visible? Is that a question you've been asking yourself? If so, you are not alone. This question comes up, especially for us overthinkers and deep feelers. Let me ask you this:

Who are you not to be visible?

You have an important mission that people need to hear about! In this blog post, I will go through 4 things around this question that I hope will help you on your journey.

If you haven't already, you can also download the free Visibility Guide to help you reflect around this, and more.

1. There is no one else like you.

You are unique with your personality, experiences, and knowing. No one else can say things the way you do. And that's why it's so crucial for you to be visible so they can find you. You might be saying the same thing as someone else, but someone needs to hear it from you, with your story and energy attached to it.

When we start to focus on something, I know that it can feel like everyone else is doing the same thing. But as soon as you let your vibe and personality through, you're different. So embrace who you are.

2. Embrace who you are.

Embrace who you are. The fastest way to failure is trying to be someone else. No one else has the key to what will work for you. Just because something works for another person, it's not sure it's going to work for you.

I do believe in creating the support we need. It's great to take tips and ideas from others that are further down the path. But you have to embrace who you are, see what works for you in your situation right now. They have a different journey.

Embrace all parts of you, the good, the bad, the ugly, and the wonderful! Is it difficult? Congratulations, you're human!

3. Congratulations, you're human.

Does it feel scary to be visible, to be on your important mission? Does it feel scary and get you anxious? Congratulations, your human!

Just because it's scary or uncomfortable doesn't mean it's wrong. Keep your eyes on the bigger mission and keep putting one foot in front of the other (sometimes backward, but mostly forwards) and you will get there eventually.

It's ok to feel all the feels. It means that you're in the game that you are alive. For me, that is so much better than being numbed down.

It's essential to listen to our feelings because they mean things, but we might have to realise that we need a new dictionary because they may not tell what we were brought up to believe. And our warning system is a bit outdated. So observe it, and if your nervous it's ok, it means that it's important to you, and maybe it means that you're a bit excited too?

No one is perfect. We know this, but we need to remind ourselves. Showing those imperfections is what makes us human. And our humaneness is what connects us with other people.

We've got a lot to learn. And let's see it is an adventure.

I have a great exercise to work the uncomfortable in the live video in the group for HSP, Sensitive, Introvert, Intuitive - Coaches and changemakers you find under Live Training in the Guides tab.

And talking about our humanness and seeing sensitivity as our superpower:

4. Sensitivity is your superpower.

Ok, just like everything else, sensitivity is neither good nor bad, it's neutral. But what if we see and use our sensitivity as our superpower. What if we consciously choose that?

We have a negativity bias in our minds, and therefore you might have seen your sensitivity as something negative, or the people around you. I love to turn the perspectives, so what happens when we do that. What is the best thing about being sensitive?

And again, life is an adventure where we can choose our perspectives. You are the hero on your journey, you can decide. You have different tools on your adventure, and sensitivity is one of them.

You can see it as something negative, or you can see it as something positive. So what do you choose?

So, who am I to be more visible?

- There's no one else like you.

- Embrace who you are.

- Congratulations, your human

- Sensitivity is your superpower.
